Turnkey Life Science Cleanroom Project in Tashkent, Uzbekistan
Detailed Introduction:

Located in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, this project marks Berbson’s first turnkey cleanroom engineering project in the life science sector in Central Asia. With a total construction area of 11,200 square meters, the facility includes three core functional zones: a molecular biology laboratory, a sterile formulation R&D center, and a stem cell storage bank.

Berbson provided a full-chain solution covering process layout design, material supply, construction, and installation. The project adopted a magnesium oxide rock wool cleanroom panel system together with airtight door and window systems, creating a reliable, compliant, and highly controlled environment for advanced life science research and development.

The facility was designed and built in strict accordance with ISO 14644 and EU GMP standards. The cleanroom achieved classified environmental control from ISO Class 5 core zones to ISO Class 7 support zones, meeting the demanding cleanliness requirements of modern life science applications.

To address the extreme seasonal temperature differences of Central Asia’s continental climate, the project team optimized the airtightness and thermal insulation performance of the panel system, ensuring stable and controllable temperature and humidity throughout the year.

The project successfully passed acceptance by the Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan on the first attempt, becoming a benchmark for life science infrastructure development in Central Asia. It highlights Berbson’s system integration capability and cross-border delivery strength in executing international cleanroom projects under complex climate conditions.
