Life Science Cleanroom Project in Uzbekistan | ISO 5 & ISO 7 Laboratory | Berbson
Detailed Introduction:

This project is located in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, and represents Berbson’s first turnkey cleanroom project in the life sciences sector in Central Asia.

With a total construction area of 11,200 square meters, the facility includes three core functional zones: a molecular biology laboratory, a sterile pharmaceutical R&D center, and a stem cell storage facility.

Berbson provided a full-chain solution covering cleanroom process design, material supply, and installation. The project adopts a high-performance glass magnesium rock wool cleanroom panel system combined with airtight door and window systems, ensuring superior durability and sealing performance.

The cleanroom is designed in strict compliance with ISO 14644 standards and EU GMP requirements, achieving:

ISO 5 (Class 100) core clean zones

ISO 7 (Class 10,000) auxiliary areas

To address the extreme continental climate of Central Asia, with significant temperature differences between summer and winter, Berbson optimized panel insulation and airtightness to maintain stable temperature and humidity throughout the year.

The project successfully passed acceptance by the Uzbekistan Ministry of Health and has become a benchmark for life science infrastructure in Central Asia, demonstrating Berbson’s expertise in international cleanroom engineering and cross-border project delivery.
