Detailed Introduction:

Located in Khalifa Industrial Zone, Abu Dhabi, UAE, this project marks Berbson’s first turnkey cleanroom engineering project in the field of new materials research and development in the Middle East. With a total construction area of 6,800 square meters, the facility includes three major functional zones: a composite material synthesis laboratory, a material performance testing center, and a pilot-scale expansion workshop.

Berbson provided a full-chain solution covering concept design, material supply, construction, and installation. The project adopted a magnesium oxide rock wool cleanroom panel system together with high-temperature-resistant polyurethane cold storage panel systems, creating a reliable and efficient environment for advanced material research, testing, and pilot production.

The facility was designed and built in strict accordance with ISO 14644 and UAE standardization requirements. The cleanroom core laboratory areas achieved ISO Class 5 standards, meeting the demanding environmental control requirements of high-end new materials R&D applications.

To address the extreme heat and dust challenges of the Gulf region, the project team strengthened the sealing performance of the enclosure system and optimized the temperature and humidity control strategy, ensuring stable year-round operation of the facility.

The project successfully passed acceptance by the UAE Standardization and Metrology Authority on the first attempt, becoming a demonstration project for advanced material research infrastructure in the Middle East. It highlights Berbson’s system integration capability and cross-border delivery strength in executing international cleanroom projects under extreme climate conditions.
